Support Local: Friday, March 23

Those looking to connect with the local music scene have an array of opportunities to do so this Friday, March 23.

A fundraiser for Thailand flood relief, a concert featuring #4 on Paste Magazine’s list of Arizona bands you should listen to now, a free show at Crescent Ballroom, and a two-day anniversary celebration at Long Wong’s are all great excuses to get out and support local.

WHAT: Beat Relief 2.0: A Benefit for Thailand Flood Relief

WHAT: Long Wong’s Two Year Anniversary Party

WHO: Japhy’s Descent, Playboy Manbaby, Sasquanaut, Ghetto Cowgirl and Banana Gun

WHERE: Long Wong’s Tempe, 1639 E. Apache Blvd.

WHEN: 8 P.M.

*If you can’t make it Friday, day two of the celebration on March 24 features Future Loves Past, The Muddy Moneys, TKLB?, Quick Henry, and The Pubes.
