Fine China to Release 10th Anniversary Vinyl of ‘The Jaws of Life,’ Perform at Rebel Lounge
It’s been a decade since the Phoenix-based indie rock band Fine China released The Jaws of Life.
Velvet Blue Music, Plastiq Musiq, Common Wall Media and President Gator have worked hard to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the release and this December, their efforts will come to fruition. Mark your calendars. On Dec. 11, Fine China will release a deluxe vinyl reissue of The Jaws of Life and perform at The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix with support from Bogan Via and Wild Earth.
Rob Withem (singer-songwriter, guitar), Greg Markov (bass), Josh Block (keys) and Thom Walsh (drums) have not performed live as Fine China since 2006. This celebration also marks the first time the album will be pressed on vinyl. The 180 gram black record will come with a download card, and include new exclusives, remixes and original tracks.
Fine China formed in 1997. The band released singles on Velvet Blue to much acclaim before putting out its debut LP, When the World Sings, on Plastiq Musiq/Tooth and Nail Records in 2000. The Jaws of Life was self-produced and released on local label Common Wall Media.
