Cover the Crescent to Benefit Peer Solutions Non Profit
Cover the Crescent pairs local bands with albums from classic, big-name musicians, in a night of fun and good music. On Wednesday, Dec. 16, The Odd Byrds will take the stage to cover The Byrds‘ album Sweetheart of the Rodeo and Tierra Del Fuego will be covering Bob Dylan‘s Nashville Skyline.
All box office proceeds will benefit Peer Solutions, a non-profit created to cultivate healthy communities through Stand & Serve (S&S), a primary prevention initiative fostering safety, equality and respect as norms.
Doors open at 8 P.M. and tickets can be purchased for $5.
The Odd Byrds is an Americana supergroup created by vocalist/guitarist Matthew John Arnold. It is comprised of The Grievous Angels‘ John Rauhouse, Tommy Connell and Michael Krassner of Boxhead Ensemble, Robin Vining of Sweetbleeders, Lukas Mathers of Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, Carolyn Camp of Pick and Holler, drummer Don Windham, and vocalists Taylor Upsahl and Kelly Ehley.
Tierra Del Fuego is a five-person Americana band featuring Matt Wiser, Brock Ruggles, James Pyper, Ron Marschall and Jeff Livingston.
