Last night,¬†Brooklyn‘s Xenia Rubinos and¬†Philadelphia‘s Man Man performed at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix. Both artists are touring in support of newly released albums, Rubinos with debut Magic Trix and Man Man with fifth album On Oni Pond.

Xenia Rubinos took the stage first with her drummer Marco Buccelli in a captivating performance that showcased Rubinos’ wide range of vocals. The duo got the crowd dancing with “Pan y Cafe” and kept the energy rolling until Man Man took the stage.

Man Man’s performance was everything the crowd could hope for — costumes, confetti and the flamboyant antics of lead singer Honus Honus. The group played songs old and new and only brought the energy down once with a fantastic acoustic version of “Deep Cover” during a multi-song encore.
