It’s hard work making something out of nothing. This is especially true for up-and-coming musicians who put a lot of time, money and spirit into making a name for themselves and their art.
On Jan. 23, local band Sundressed fell victim to theft while on tour. The band was staying at a hotel in Salt Lake City when its trailer was stolen from the back of its tour van. Inside the trailer was all of the band’s merchandise and gear, as well as merch for Chase Huglin.
The band has created a GoFundMe page to raise $8,000 in an effort to replace what was taken.
“We are looking into our insurance policy to see if we can get some of the gear recovered; however, our policy will only cover about half if we can get a full claim,” reads the GoFundMe page.”Asking for help is hard, but we have really met some amazing people in this scene and wouldn’t trade these relationships and experiences for anything […] Hopefully we will be back on the road soon!”
Any and all support for the band is appreciated. If you’re able to make a donation, visit here. The band members are also asking people to share the fundraiser page and keep an eye out for the stolen goods.
