Coming Soon: Music Films at FilmBar in Phoenix

FilmBar is the cinema-bar-lounge in Phoenix that keeps on giving. This week’s screening schedule caught the eye of The Spec because it’s full of music-themed films ranging in genre from documentary to foreign.

And to make matters better: LivingSocial is currently offering a deal that includes two FilmBar movie tickets and a bottle of wine or four draft beers for only $18. That’s a savings of 54 percent.

Check out trailers and showtimes for screenings this week…

While not entirely a music film, “Chicken with Plums” (Poulet aux prunes) is a foreign comedy/drama about Nasser Ali Khan, a renowned musician who loses his will to live after his wife breaks his violin.
