March 27 through March 29, a range of bands and patrons headed to downtown Phoenix for McDowell Mountain Music Festival, the only non-profit music festival in Arizona. The three-day event, in its 12th year, featured over 40 musical acts on two stages.
Daytime temperatures danced through the 90s, but that didn’t keep hundreds from hanging out and enjoying sets by local and touring musicians, including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Break Science, Portugal. The Man, Thievery Corporation, Phantogram, Widespread Panic and more.
