King Tuff, No Age, Others to Perform at Deserted at The Palms Music Festival in Wonder Valley
Thirty-three dollars and a four-hour drive to California is all it takes for Phoenix music fans to get deserted. Deserted at the Palms, that is. The music festival held at The Palms in Wonder Valley, Calif. will take place on Saturday, May 30. “The Palms is a desert haunt in a desolate place called Wonder Valley. A shabby oasis run by a family known as The Sibleys, the beer costs two dollars and they sell twinkies at the bar,” reads a press release. “It has an out-of-tune piano missing some keys and its most dedicated patron is a tall mannequin with a giant cat mask for a head. The place is a treasure.”
The lineup for the all-ages music event: King Tuff, Black Bananas, No Age, Sonny & The Sunsets, Magic Trick, Jack Name, Part Time, Pharaohs, Nedelle Torrisi, The Memories, Zig Zags, Bloody Death Skull, Kim & The Created, Feels, Zombelle, L.A. Takedown, Butchy Fuego, Anna Oxygen and Barfth. Deserted fest will feature interactive art, a “wet zone,” vendors and many other surprises.
Ticket prices, $30 with $3 service fees, include complimentary parking and camping. Interested in attending? Find out more about what to bring (here), lineup acts (here) and tickets (here).
