Stateside Presents is inviting 21+ locals on a road trip from Crescent Ballroom to Arcosanti on Sept. 27.

It’s being called Crescent’s Family Road Trip and will include a 67-mile drive to the Paolo Soleri‘s urban laboratory in Mayer, Ariz.. For what? Approximately six hours worth of live performances by The Album Leaf, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, iCARAY! and North Brother Island. That’s right, a road trip to a must-see location for a must-hear lineup of electronic-ambient, afrobeat, chamber folk and cuban music.

Tickets are on sale now. General admission passes are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event, with applicable processing fees. The shuttle pass, which is $23 plus fees, is for those who want to hitch a ride from Crescent Ballroom to the destination. The shuttle will depart from the Phoenix venue at 5:30 P.M. and return after the show. This bus is not for campers who will be staying the night. Camping passes are valid for up to six people and available for $20. People with camping permits or shuttle passes must purchase a general admission ticket to attend the show. Purchase passes and find out more about  the ticket types on Ticketfly.

Our advice: get out of town, live a little and don’t forget to purchase tickets because space is limited.
