Go!Zilla, interview, Bandcamp

Go!Zilla is an Italian fuzz, psychedelic punk band composed of Luca Landi, Fabio Ricciolo and Mattia Biagiotti. The group aptly refers to its genre as “grungedelic” and on April 15 released Sinking In Your Sea, which is available on Bandcamp.

Below, read The Spec‘s interview with Go!Zilla and listen to tracks from the album…

How long have you been making music?
About 13 years.

Who/what are your influences?
Music from the ’60s is a deep space to discover.

What is your favorite song you’ve released and why?
Magic Weird Jack” is the most completed and deep we have. Also, we are jamming on it a bit on stage and that makes this song cooler.

Upcoming projects, where do you want to go from here?
Hopefully, we’ll discover a bit of the South American market.

If you could no longer be a musician, what would you be or do for a living?
Still working in the music business of course.

What musicians or bands do you look up to?
Thee Oh Sees is impressive.

Why do you make music?
It’s the thing I’m most interested in and I really think I’m able to work in this business pretty well ;).

Anything else you’d like readers to know that we haven’t asked you about?
My phone number?
