The Kanye Quest 3030 Game

Hip-hop artists often rap about “being in the game,” but now, several well-known rappers are actually in a game. It’s called Kanye Quest 3030, “a game about Kanye West, hip-hop, life, The BasedGod and the future.”

This isn’t the first game West has been a part of — remember the interactive web experience known as Kanye Zone? Kanye Quest 3030 looks to be equally as entertaining is conveniently rated “Y” for “Yeezy.”

The synopsis, courtesy of the official website: “In January 2010, as rapper and producer Kanye West is taking the garbage out one day, he suddenly travels through a wormhole. Emerging on the other side, Kanye finds himself in the year 3030. In a dystopian city filled with clones of hip-hop musicians and under the control of a god-like dictator, can Kanye get back home? Kanye Quest 3030 is a hip-hop-themed science-fiction 2D roleplaying game starring Kanye West.”

Is the game over when West goes home? Does West get rid of all the clones and become the God-like dictator he was fighting against? Was the clone of Tupac Shakur really a clone? So many questions and plenty of time to answer them.

The Kanye Quest 3030 website posted earlier this month that the game was taken down for copyright reasons related to 2Pac’s clone image. A new update was posted on Aug. 3. Watch the game trailer below and those running a Windows operating system can download the game here.
