I love that we had the opportunity to profile a person who is very involved in the music industry but not directly with the music. There are so many working parts in the industry and photography, especially live and behind the scenes, is something that musicians and their fans are becoming more interested in.

I wrote this post following the death of Whitney Houston. I had known of some of the more “famous” drowning deaths of musicians, but I found out about a few more through my research. The sad thing is that all the artists in the post were under the age of 46 when they passed away. Too young.


Review: Carnaval Electrico,” originally published on March 11, 2013

I liked this review because the night was a unique concert experience. Crescent Ballroom had indoor and outdoor stages, with a great lineup and tons of fans. However, it started pouring rain. It was cold and wet but still a great time. Plus, we were able to take video.
