We’re living in a day and age when our “wouldn’t-it-be-cool-if” ideas are actually becoming realities. Technology and music are being blended together so effortlessly and the results of this mergence are fun to watch (and play with).

Neon House is the name of an interactive DJ booth that was created by House of Peroni and for DJ Alessio Natalizia of the band Walls. It specifically explores the connection that exists between architecture and music, testing the idea that performance venues can act as part of performances. This is all done through use of various technologies.

The Seaboard by Roli is a new instrument. Yes, instrument. It’s essentially the remake of a piano keyboard but with a continuous and soft design that allows for easy vibrato, polyphonic pitch bend and per-note dynamic changes. All of this is at your  fingertips — literally.  This piece is handcrafted in London and available in three models ranging in price from $1,999 to $8,888.
