Ticket Giveaway: Diego’s Umbrella, Sunorus

San Francisco‘s gypsy rock band Diego’s Umbrella will be performing with local support from Sunorus at Crescent Ballroom on Thursday, August 2 and The Spec is giving away a pair of tickets.

Read more about both bands and find out how to win tickets, below…

Diego’s Umbrella released their fourth album Paper Cowboy on July 17 with label Ninth Street Opus. The album marks the first time the band has collaborated with producers The Rondo Brothers(MC Lars, Foster the People).

The band has played shows large and small including gigs at Outside Lands and High Sierra Music Festival. Influences include, but are not limited to, sounds aardvarks make when they’re angry, Acqua diGio, that feeling when you’re driving and forget that your fleshlight is between your legs, and your mom. If that doesn’t make you want to check out Diego’s Umbrella, I don’t know what will.

Sunorus is an experimental six-member psychedelic band based out of Phoenix. Their self-titled sophmore album was released in April and can be streamed on Myspace.

One reader will win a pair of tickets to see Diego’s Umbrella and Sunorus at Crescent Ballroom on Thursday, August 2.
